Interior. Renaissance

This apartment belongs to Bogdan Batrukh, a man prepared to go a long way for beauty and art. An article about him and his apartment appeared in Arkhideya magazine in February 2006. He created unique conditions for our work: no deadlines, and therefore no rush, which let us push the quality as far as it would go.

Iryna Ganina, Valeriy Vasiliev and Yevgeniya Bogatskaya worked on the murals with me.

Since the client is in love with the Italian Renaissance and wanted copies of the masters of that era in his home, this was the solution I proposed for the interior.

The medium is acrylic on Louvre plaster. We drew on well-known works by Mantegna, Botticelli, Caravaggio and others. The choice of plaster, the light fittings and the painting of the stove are by Mihail Nikolaev.
